Power and precision make short track and long track speedskating one of the fastest sports on ice.

Long track competitors will compete outdoors on the 400m Olympic Oval where, during the 1980 Olympics, Eric Heiden won a historic five individual gold medals. Long Track distances range from 500m - 3,000m.

The longest distance for all classes are only opened to the top 4 skaters after 3 distances and this is an overall format.

Long track is open to any athlete who belongs to any speed skating National Governing Body for their country and who has competed in a prior event with a published time.

Scholastic: $70

Please note all athletes must have a published time from past long track competitions in order to qualify for the Empire State Winter Games.
 
REFUNDS
There are no refunds of entry fees. While registering, please double-check the dates of competition and qualification requirements needed to compete. In the case of a medical emergency, depending on the circumstance, a refund MAY be considered.
