QUALIFICATIONS
This race is open to any skier at least 7 years of age as of December 31st, 2022. NYSSRA uses the “U” age class system utilized by USSA. The "U" or "Under" replaces the "J" system for our competitive junior age groups. Age categories remain in two-year increments. The classifications are the same, only the title changes. For example, 18-19-year olds are now U20 (formerly OJ), 16-17-year olds are U18 (formerly J1), and so on. Your age group is defined by your age as of December 31 of the race season.
