As an official sponsor of the 1,053-mile, 14-stop relay, Bond, Schoeneck & King will be a part of the torch relay festivities and celebrations in Syracuse and Delmar.

“We are thrilled to welcome Bond, Schoeneck & King to the Empire State Winter Games family as an official sponsor of the torch relay,” said Adirondack Sports Council Executive Director Tracy Smith. “The torch relay symbolizes the spirit of unity, perseverance, and the relentless dedication of athletes chasing their dreams on snow and ice. With their support, we can ensure this incredible tradition connects communities across New York and inspires athletes and fans alike as we gear up for the 2025 Games.”

Brian Butler, Chair of the Management Committee at Bond, Schoeneck & King added, “Bond is excited to support the 2025 Empire State Winter Games as the torch relay sponsor. The firm is proud to join Community Bank in supporting an event that not only highlights athletic talent and dedication but also champions the importance of inclusion in sports. The torch relay is a chance to celebrate those ideals and the spirit of the Empire State Winter Games.”

The ESWG Torch Relay is expected to begin in Buffalo and culminate its journey throughout the Empire State, on Jan. 30, in Lake Placid. It will arrive in time for the Games’ Opening Ceremony, where over 2,500 athletes, competing in 25 winter sports, will march into the famed Olympic Center, home to the 1980 U.S. men’s Olympic hockey team’s “Miracle on Ice.”

This year’s ESWG event theme is “Chasing Dreams on Snow & Ice: The 2025 Empire State Winter Games.” The event, which is free and open to the public, aims to celebrate the inspirational journey of all the athletes who have competed in the 44-year-old history of the Games.
